LOW-HIGH gear change stick vibrating

I tried searching on vibration issues, but the several pages of the results I have read, were not about Low/high gear lever.

With engine running, if I put my hand on the L/H gear lever, I can feel vibrations in my hand. There are no vibrations when holding my hand on any other levers or interior body parts that I can think of when in the driver's seat.

What are the things to check, look into (if anyone had this problem before)?

Or, maybe there is a IH8MUD checklist developed over the years which I can go through please?

Great to hear that!

The car is new to me, but at about 90kmls I was expecting that some maintenance is due, including all the fluids from all the diffs, transfer cases, gearboxes etc etc...

The reason you feel vibrations is because that’s the only shifter with a direct mechanical link to the transfer case. The transmission shifter is electronic so there are no vibrations present there
