Copied and pasted from my craigslist ad. Bare with me, the ad was meant for the general public not cruiser fanatics. Lol

1996 LX450 aka FZJ80 Land cruiser
208,xxx miles
Full Time All Wheel Drive. Locking center diff. 3rd row seating. Big iron block inline 6.
Vehicle had ALOT of maintenance/repairs done recently. All work was done by myself, a certified Lexus Technician and an automotive enthusiast.
There are no oil/fluid leaks. If you're familiar with these vehicles then you know how much work and $$$ it takes to do it right. All parts were toyota oem parts unless specified.
Replaced the oil pump cover gasket. Also replaced the front crank seal.
Rebuilt front knuckles/seals. Repacked bearings. Had to replaced the upper/lower trunnion bearings due to wear. Had replace both inner shafts due to o-ring wearing a groove in axles. I also replaced the front brake rotors and pads while I had the knuckles out.
Replaced radiator with Koyo unit along with oem hoses. Replaced fan clutch with Aisin(OE man.) unit.
Rebuilt power steering pump and replaced p/s hoses.
Replaced distributor o-ring, cap, rotor, and spark plug wire set.
Replaced air filter, new toyota wiper blades(f&r) so you can purchase refills from toyota/lexus
Replaced PHH and other heater hoses. Also replaced heater valve. I used samco silicon hose and stainless constant torque clamps for the hard to reach one under the intake manifold. Other heater hoses I used gates premium hoses.
I installed extended length brake line hoses from various toyotas. Bled the system in the process.
Installed front LH/RH window runs/gaskets due to glass sticking.
She now runs like a dream. Engine is amazingly smooth and quiet. Transmission shifts smooth. A/c blows really cold. Colder than the newer Lexus vehicles I work on daily due to their thicker evap core. Keep in mind these suvs are built for 3rd world countries. They are built tough.
It was lifted with OME 4" comp springs(ready for front armor/winch) in front and OME J's in rear. Man-a-fre control arm drop brackets to correct caster. I recently installed the new OME nitro sports shocks, the extended length ones. With the lift I had to add the double cardone front driveshaft from Tattons Driveshafts. With the larger angles the joints must be lubed frequently. Also replaced the oe steering dampener with an OME unit. It helps keeps the 35s Toyo OC M/T tamed. The actual size are 315/75/16. They still have a lot of tread left(aprox 80%). They are mounted on 16x8 aluminum wheel by StealthCustomSeries. They are light and strong.
The spare is also matching. The tire is a 35" Toyo OC A/T(zero miles). I planned on switching to an A/T after the M/T worn down.
There are TWO things the new owner needs to do before the vehicle is "complete". Get the steering wheel recovered or buy a slip-on from pep boys. I got a quote from Craft Customs on TX for an OE recover job for $240. And secondly, get the front seats recovered, Lseat has kits for 299.
I've put a lot of hard work and money into it. I may be forgetting some minor stuff I've done here and there. I have many reasons for selling it and one reason to keep it. I am returning back to college full-time, away from home. I have 4 vehicles and can only bring one with me.
I am asking 11,700. I am not interested in any trades.
Vehicle is located in New Orleans. I am located in Baton Rouge but can meet in NOLA to show vehicle on weekends.
