Any diagnosis tips would be appreciated. This thing is driving me nuts and it's embarassing, too.

It sounds like a loose heat sheald or thin metal. Only happens while excellerating. I've been under there poking around a dozen times and have removed everything removeable.

Short of strapping myself under there while my wife speeds through the n'hood, I'm stumpped.

Again, any diagnosis tips would be appreciated.

Clamp heat sheilds. Tighten the plastic "skid plate" underneath. My washers like to rattle like crazy, tighten any bolt on the exhuast, the flange bolts on mine also backed out and caused a huge exhaust leak/ rattle.

Check the plastic engine cover, the padding sometimes falls out due to heat and causes rattling.

Catalytic Converters. Mine rattled. Put some big hose clamps around them - stops it.

x3 - Heat shields on the cat converters. Mine did that too.

I clamped by heat shields and replaced all the bolts with stainless bolts with lock washers. After that the rubber mount wore out and started squeaking. Replaced it and sounds much better.

My advice is clamp and/or remove anything that possibly could move.

Could also be your faux skid plate. This is mine where it bolts on and well, it's not bolted on anymore. This definitely causes those annoying rattles.
