Hoping I can get the groups help to diagnose a noise that I've been having trouble tracking down. I've got a loud medium frequency click I can feel specifically when I go back or forward suddenly. It's very predictable, brakes on give it a little gas and CLICK like something that was bound up unloading, same for reverse. I've been over the suspension and can't see anything obvious. No torn boots, wheel bearings feel good, no play when I crank on the wheels lifted in the air. 2008 no KDSS 150,000 miles original struts.

U-joints on your driveshaft? Have you checked that yet?
Rear driveshaft is brand new (the updated part number that, thankfully, eliminated the annoying shunt) but I haven't checked the front. I keep it will greased but its certainly possible. I'll check it out.

OEM suspension?

I swapped leaf springs on my Tacoma years ago and ended up cutting the forward bolt driver's side. I just stuck one in there with the same thread, but threaded the length of it. It always had a little thump ever since and sometime last year I finally put new OEM bolts in that have shoulders all the way across the hanger. No more thump there.

Also, aftermarket shocks & struts may not have the exact size bushing. It could be a mm or so bigger and cause a thump there.

yes, fully stock suspension minus new airbags out back.
