lost the last key to the hundy

Thought I lost my last set._So I called dealer here in oc 860 for new key with computer after reprogrammed Called guy here in garden grove. 300 for new master reprogrammed. 160 copy of new master. And 60 for valet key. Thankfully i found the keys but sure glad someone else out there that can make a key without forking.over 800 to the stealer

My truck only came with one master key.

So I ordered two non-remote Toyota key blanks from eBay along with a remote key shell. I took them all to the dealer and had them cut and program all three new keys. They said it was a set $60 IIRC to program as many keys as you want. They were doubtful then amazed that the eBay keys worked.

Ended up with 4 working keys for under $100.

I lost 1 remote key and one valet key within a week. I'm down to my last key!

There is a thread about programming your own key. There are like 20 steps (open door, turn key, honk horn, tap brake pedal, rub your belly, pat your head, repeat) but it works.
