I'm in middle of head gasket replacement on my 96 FJ 80 gasoline engine. This is my first major overhaul of a Land Cruiser. I've noticed the occasional dropped bolt or socket doesn't make it to the shop floor. Instead they have seemed to vanish in the engine bay. Most of the lost items went missing while I was working on the intake side at the rear of the engine (near firewall). I'm reassembling now but would like to recover needed 12 mm bolts, etc. Do you guys with more experience know of a pocket/area where bolts get hung-up? I have lighting, telescoping magnet w/mirror etc., and just can't seem to locate the dropped items. Honestly, my truck is like to Bermuda triangle. Thanks in advance JBN
