Quick story, in 2001 my mother purchased a brand new LX, she worked her butt off to be able to afford such a beautiful car. I was never allowed to drive it except for a few times. In 2013 she decided to sell the car to me for the high high price of $1 - through a few poorly timed events, I was out of town on business and she was involved in an accident that totaled the LX, she was fine, but she was very sad that I didn't get the LX. later that year I bought a new FJ Cruiser and she bough a smaller car and enjoyed it until she unexpectedly passed away in 2015. Even more heartbroken, I kept idly searching for my black lexus. A few months ago my wife and I found out that we were pregnant. The FJ just isnt going to cut it. So its now or never for my lexus. Mostly to honor my mother, and feel the same pride she did in this car.
I've been to too many shady dealerships, seen too many pieced together wrecks... I'm willing to pay bigger money for the right vehicle. I can't stand going to one more dealership, I want to make a deal happen, cash. I'd also really need to see the truck in person before committing to anything.
I'm looking for a Black or Gray LX470 - tan or gray interior, under or around 200k miles in the southern california area - I'm not picky, it can either be early or late series. I'd like the truck to have AHC, and I'd love for the car to have a clean service record.
I ask you humbly, mudders, for your help in tracking down the right vehicle. Thank you.
