After 9 years of West Coast adventures, it's time to part with my beloved FJ60, “Pennie.” Bought from a reputable collector in Nashville, shipped to Upstate NY, then to LA—this vintage beauty has been with me every step of the way. Asking: $32,000 OBO

As its third owner, I’ve kept her in solid shape, with plenty of love and care. I handle the small stuff myself, but leave the bigger repairs to the pros at Pinkies in West Hollywood who have worked on her for 6 years (highly recommended shop).

Here’s the breakdown:
  • Exterior: Great condition with just a few rust spots and small dings from daily adventures.
  • Interior: Classic 1983 vibes, including the original radio and dashboard crack (it’s got character!). Brand New headliner as of 11/15/24.
  • Performance: Runs smooth. It's a reliable, no-hurry, straight-6 workhorse. Tows a 2200lb trailer no problem.
  • Maintenance: Regular oil changes and yearly tune-ups.
  • Smog: Comes with a 2-year smog cert, dated 12/10/24 but is desmogged
  • Quirks: Gas gauge is broken, odd noises from the wipers, and power steering hums sometimes (apparently not a mechanical issue).
  • Mileage: 216K (odometer stopped at 216K and I've probably put 20K on her).

She's been a fantastic ride for my family, and it’s bittersweet to say goodbye. If you're interested, I’ve got more details and service history.

Great looking truck. To save other people from typing (and you having to reply to everyone); detailed photos of the underside, engine bay, roof rails and typical rust spots will go a long way, along with a driving video.

Additionally, can you confirm all electrics (lights (interior and exterior), windshield washer, gauge lighting, etc.) work?
