When ever I go over a hump or a really small pot hole, I hear this "clack" noise coming from ther DS wheel. I checked all the pre-loads for the bearings, they don't seem to be loose or bad. But when I was taking the caliper off the brake pads seem to be really loose. Are they supposed be like that? Can those cause this noise? How does the brake pads get loose .
Any one else has experienced this?

Any info would be much appreciated :D

Thanks

You might check your sway bar bushing at the axle on that side... mine is worn and gives a light metallic rattling noise.

You can buy poorly made brake pads that fit incorrectly. OEM do not have this problem.

I have the OEM pads, got them 30K miles ago from the dealer. I was checking the pads and looks like they are worn only close to the edges, the middle portion seems little thicker. I saw another thread with this issue, I don't have front sway-bar, tossed that a while ago but those sway-bar hangers type things with bushings are leaking grease, looks like penut butter. Can they make that rattle or "clack" noise? Or it's the weird worn pads.
