looks like its possible to remove injection pump without removing timing belt 1hd-t maybe it can help someone if they need to service there injection pump before the timeing belt is due.

the bolt will stay in place when you remove it this way without removing the timing belt.

i did set everything to BDC as if you needed to remove the timing belt to use a puller to pop out the Injection pump

able to install a pump with the belt on but not able to remove it. as you you have to take the lower sprocket off to remove the nut that goes onto the pump shaft. you need a puller tool and alot of force to release the tapered shaft of the pump. good thing the timing belt is really easy to replace.

Mine came out without a fight i just loosend the middle bolt and wiggled that pump outta there. easy fo rme.. little bit of a wiggle just like removing the crank pulley its just keyed and not pressed it.. not sure what would cause it to get jammed in there.

my injection pump and gear have a key and a taper. from the looks of things i was probably the first person to remove it since 94.
