.....Was wondering what to look for when purchasing one? What problems if any have come up? What usually needs replacing at this time? Also as far as mileage goes, is around 160000 miles for a vehicle this age good/average? How many miles do you have on your Cruiser? Any other info/opinions would be great. I'm planning on getting one within the next couple of weeks. By the way this is my first post. Looks like a great forum. Hope to learn alot while here. Thanks all.....

Why 92-94? That's kind of a crossover between FJ-80 and FJZ-80, I think, so you need to decide which one you're really going for. FJ-80 is 155hp, FJZ-80 is 212hp, quite a difference!

Figure out how long you can wait till you find one, then split that time in half. Spend half of it reading posts here getting a solid understanding of what to look for, reading the FAQs, understanding differences between years etc, then spend the other 1/2 actually looking. If you don't rush, you'll get a great deal.
