The guy who bought your 40 couldn't get it cranked one day out in the field near AU and I stopped and recognized the 40 as yours! I helped him get it cranked.

Cdl is not engaging so the lockers won't engage. I'll have to do some investigation. I spent an hour or so fixing some small things and it's really coming along. I think it's going to be a decent truck but won't know until I really dig into it.

I didn't know the 40 made it to AU. I sold it to an older guy in b'ham. I wonder where that thing is now? I still remember sanding that thing done by hand....I sanded till my fingers bled!

It's still in Auburn AFAIK. It turned out being a good friend's cousin... I'll ask where it is if you want. I'm pretty sure the guy your thinking was the dad.

Just don't tell him I sunk it in a creek up in Waterloo one night. It actually floated down the creek until it hit something and sank....all u could see was the top of the roll cage. It was a full rebuild after that

IF so I looked at that one...I was concerned about the CDL not working and thus the front & rear lockers not working.
If you bought it...I hope its something minor with the CDL
I guess I should have jump in the discussion sooner...but I have a 96 LX450 with 200k that could be available for the right price.
