big crack in mine. I've tried buying 2 used through the mail... both arrived smashed to s*** despite cushy and stiff packaging..

I'm in NW phoenix...peoria...
 
yep thats a good plan , shop around ! i had to go to central phx to get them to cut me on for under a hundred!

you remember the name of the place? I tried a couple places and they could not be convinced it wasn't simple flat safety glass...and beleive me, i tried to convince them...
 
it was on indian school road and around 20th st and they need a template i made a template out of cardboard an it was to big . it was real trying to get that in . sorry i dont remeber the name,but it had the word glass in it:flipoff2:
 
did a dex search i believe it was evereadyglass at 2525E indianschool 2 years ago they did my dads truck then mine about s months later

What's to convince, it's a windshield so has to be safety glass,,, flat, put a ruler, straight edge on it? If they can't figure that out, I don't think I would want them cutting me a window?:confused: Keep shopping, would hope there is still a glass co around that can do more than order by part number?
 
Even ordering by part number might not be as expensive as you think. Most windshields go to cash-paying customers for less than $150, flat glass has to be cheaper than most, even if it's relatively rare.

Buy the rubber too and it's an easy install. Old rubber, maybe not so easy.

Now I *know* I made a mistake in buying a FJ60. I couldn't get the gasket for that price, let alone the glass!
