I need an 80 Series and a 100 Series (preferably mildy modded) for a few photos for an article I am writing. I figure that finding the 80 won't be too hard with all of the nice ones in the club, but what about 100 Series owners? Dean/DMX? Slimbuddha? Others?

This would not take much time, we could meet in the East Mountains or the Puerco, it shouldn't take more than a half an hour of your time to get the photos that I need. I am at the SEMA show and CORR season finale next week, but will be back in town on Monday the 5th and available any time after that.

Thanks,

Harry

The closest modded 100's that I am aware of are in CO and AZ. Dean has an ARB front bar and I think that's about it.

I would be available after November 10th if you need an 80 still.

I don't think anyone would want to use my truck as an example of anything good to do with LC's.

It's a piece of junk....expensive junk.

;)

Well, actually there's a fella from Sante Fe who has a nicely modded 100 series. Can't recall his name though, was it Steve? Goes by the handle of SantaFe Cowboy or something like that. He went to Puerco with us one time and then had Slee transform his ride afterwards.

That would be Steve Messinger. He has been on 3 or 4 runs, including the first one to Guaje Canyon last year. His 100 is very well set up with ARB front, Slee rear, Slee sliders, Warn winch and the Outback drawer system in the rear. I think it was running 33" A/T tires the last time he had it out with the club.

We have not seen Steve since the Christmas Tree run last year. I have heard that he is having health problems. I might be able to find a cell phone number if you want to give him a call.

Hey Harry -

We haven't seen you in a while. If the other 80 offers above don't pan out, PM me and I should be able to help. I may be a little beyond "mildly modded," so I'll leave that up to you to decide. My truck's not the prettiest in the bunch (scratches, dings, etc.), but it does look like a trail truck.

For the 100, if things don't work out with Steve M, contact Ron (Slimbuddha). I think his truck is pretty much stock, but it's a nice black 100.

Thanks for all of the replies! You have not seen much of me lately because I have been in South Dakota for work for the past six months, hanging out with the Cruiserheads in the Black Hills. I write this from Albuquerque though, I am back until at least the spring and excited to hit the trails soon.

On my drive back from Rapid City I stopped by Slee's shop and took some photos of the Short Bus nosed up against the Blueberry (that is what they are calling the solid axle 100 series). So I have *one* photo with an 80 and 100, but maybe not the best representation of the average 80 and 100. I will keep looking for a local 100 series and send off some PMs. It doesn't seem like finding a nice 80 is going to be a problem with this crowd. :D
