I'm looking for all Missouri Toyota owners, as well as St. Louis area (and about a 200 mile radius) Toyota owners. I'm trying to get a solid group of actual wheeling folks for regular Toyota outings at some of the fine local parks. I just mainly want to get together a contact list of Toyota owners from around the area. Anyway, if I could get the folks from the St. Louis area and Missouri in general to post up, I'd really like to hear from you. I've put together a list of Toyota owners from across some midwestern states and I'd like to have a dedicated list for just the state of Missouri, and maybe some surrounding states. The main purpose of the list is for local event notification, general communication, technical assistance, weekend wheeling trips, just to hang out, and emergency contact. If you'd be interested in being a part of this contact list, please post or pm me or email me at jester_motorsports@yahoo.com I appreciate your time.

Wow, so far I've only gotten one response via email and none here. I figured there may be more interest.

At least it will be able to collect dues.

I think there's a TAC member who has an offroad shop in the St Louis area - Victor? Maybe someone can chime in with his name. I was thinking it would be a good place to find others.

From my recollection there is a club loosely based in the missouri/ks/nebraska area, comprised mainly of TLCA (Toyota LandCruiser Association) Members. You might want to meet a few of them , I'm sure they are willing to go wheeling with anyone that will want to participate.
Basically your asking us for our membership roster in a roundabout way? We do not give out our members personal information.

Wow, ok then. I wasn't really wanting personal information. I certainly wasn't asking for your club roster. Of course, I guess I don't consider email addresses personal information. I was really just looking for St. Louis area Toyota owners that liked to wheel. I honestly didn't mean to ask for such personal information. My apologies.

If you are interested, the majority of the TAC members reside in MO, so take advantage of the legwork already in place. We are always looking for members wanting to wheel more, and welcome that kind of energy. Most of the regulars (about 20% of the club) attend one or more TLCA events, so a lot of our $$ (and time) are spent wheeling away from the 4-state area.

If I might suggest, post up here if you are interested in getting a group together. During the hotter months, we typically lie low and have a couple of non-wheeling events, such as the recent float trip. Things will get going this fall again - drop in at Flat Nasty in September and you'll get a chance to meet a good chunk of the club. If gas prices don't deter too many folks, we'll probably have trips to Disney, OK, and Tuttle Creek, KS in October as well.

PM me if you'd like some additional information. Tornadoalleycruier is right in that we are loosely based, but we'll travel to wheel.

Moving to the St Louis area a year ago I've been hard pressed to find any other cruiser folks.

Unfortunetly they're all on the good/west side of the state. (I'm originally from St Joseph)

It would be nice, formal group or not, to find some enthusiasts in St Louis!

well ill chime in, i live at the lake of the ozarks, an have a small fab shop.

i try to go wheeling, but normally have a ton of customer projects to finish, im going to flat nasty next month and then possibly grey rock (clutchee is trying so hard to get me to make the trip)

so there is one more missouri fj40

I'm a couple hrs south of STL, have a buddy in St Gen whose a Cruiserhead. Hopeing to make the Flat Nastey event to meet some of the folks on the board. Seems like not to much goes on over this way for some reason. Did see a brown primered 40 coming down Hwy 21 a few weeks ago, kind'a freaked me out. Any one here? Al

Yep I am the cruiserhead from ste genevieve and will try to make it to flat nasty. It would be nice to have a group from the east side of the state. I don't know about most folks but with gas prices and having to drive a 40 I would like to stay within a few hour radius.
Al I am ready to go so hopefully we can meet some other cruisers from around here and caravan out to the event. Bill

Well i am from Rolla, MO 2 hours east in a Cruiser. NOt much wheelin right now due to gas prices and the fact that i dont' have the frame on my cruiser repaired yet but someday.

lunyou

Hey all. I'm in Chesterfield, MO. My FJ40 is still growing weeds and I'm stockpiling parts for it. Picked up my 42 Irok at our club meeting last week(Capital City Crawlers). Should get started on it this fall once a shared one ton Blazer is finished for our Fall Crawl at Flat Nasty.
Talked to a guy the other night about a 76 FJ40 he has for sale. He's out of town for a week but he gave me directions to check it out it's some where in south city.

All you St Louis/East side guys and gals make it out to Flat Nasty and I"ll dig all the contacts for the st louis area out for you all.. I'll even call em and pester em to go wheeling with ya..

I live over in Edwardsville, IL.
Mostly a web wheeler these days with my work schedule.
Poor me...
Its good to know there are some other Cruiser owners in the area.
I have only seen a couple in STL area.
