Looking for new tires..will these be ok?

Hey,

I am new to the site and a new 100 owner. I purchased the LC last week and it came with 285/60/18 BFG ATs on them. They need to be replaced and was thinking of going with the BFG Mud TA/KM2 285/70/r18.

I wanted to know if these tires would be okay on a 2006 LC stock with AHC? Does anyone have these installed and how do they like them? Is there any rubbing at full turn? Other Issues?

I thought there were other threads/posts that seemed to stretch the limits a bit more, but I couldn't find them. I'm running on 16's, so hopefully, someone with more direct knowledge can chime in.

ooops they are acutally 285/65/r18.

You're golden in that size. At just under 33" tall. Another size to consider is 275 70 18 (33" and slightly narrower.)

I accidentally bought 275 65 18 to avoid any chance of rubbing and of course... I wish I'd gone bigger. This truck is toooooo big for 32's IMO. When I buy new shoes next time, I reckon they'll be 275 70 18 or 295 65 18. I like true 33's
