I've got a certain amount money to spend and I'd like to have a little left over for a mod or two so I've set a price I'm trying to stay close to... ☺

Pretty cool, but a little to rich for my blood. Don't know if I could ever get used to driving on the wrong side of the truck :)

Going to look at a loaded 2001 LX470 tonight. Looks super clean in the pics, and well maintained(documented). Its has 236K...timing belt was done at 208K. Owner is asking 10500...does that sound like an okay deal if it turns out to be a cream puff? It has 22" wheels (comes with the original wheels w/ tires) so I'm guessing its never been off the pavement :)

Could be. Check rack and pinion and cvs! Power steering lines and heater tees. Minus those and the things already done it's hard to hurt em

Water pump and all pulleys, bearings??

I've heard the cvs are expensive to replace.

I'd like to come look at yours too, are you back in town yet?

Ad says......Timing belt recently done at dealer along with all fluids, fuel injectors cleaned, throttle body cleaned and engine decarb, had front wheel bearings repacked and serviced and brakes done. All 4 shocks replaced about a year ago. Tires about 6 months old with tons of tread left...Has navigation, has factory upgraded mark levinson sound system with iPod adapter...

Mechanically its near perfect...just needs a little help cosmetically.

Picked this one up today. Thanks for the help everyone. Now the fun (work) begins!

Congratulations! Great color, don't see a whole lot of those around here
Thanks, it originally was white. Whoever painted it did a good job at painting all the door jams and engine bay etc... The clear coat is coming off all over the body. I plan on putting a paint job on it eventually. I need to decide if I want to put some flares back on it or do the bed liner fender flares.

Congrats on the purchase. Looks like a solid base to build on.
