I'm going to be in western colorado the week of June 3rd. I was thinking of running out to Moab to do some wheeling. Are the trails always open or would I have to attend an event. Can you reccomend any "medium/hard trails". Any thought and info is appreciated.:beer::beer:

Thanks,
Jeff

Trails are always open.

I'd suggest Poison Spider, Gold Bar, Golden Spike, Hells Revenge, and Cliff Hanger. There are some good trails around Grand Junction, Colorado also. I really like 21 Road and Billings Canyon.

Here is a good link with information about several trails in Moab.

Get this book;
http://www.4x4books.com/mub.htm

It has directions to all the trails with GPS coordinates and it also has great directions to keep you on the trail with odometer readings, etc.

You can get it online or just about every store in Moab sells it.

I was in Moab for cruise Moab, picked up the book it's well worth it. Can't wait to go back and explore with some friends. Oh, and by the way try Metal Masher.
