Let me start off by saying I'm not looking for free work. I'm looking for a painter and body man. I'm looking for a good gearing guy for lockers and re-gear, possibly front end rebuild as well.
I'm in Chandler area just off Riggs.

There's always East Coast Gear Supply, then you do the install with some help from friends
That's the route I went and it worked out great. cept I had to horse it up myself

A mutual friend of Ken and mine is Darrel at Lloyds Transmission in Tucson is the only person other than Ken that I would trust with doing gear installs. On the surface a gear install is nothing more than swapping parts, but getting them set up right truly takes skill and experience. Not saying there aren't local shops that will do it well, just my $.02 based on my experience.

Look into A-1 Diff, call him, go to his shop, and see what he has going on. I have never had gear whine or any other problem associated with a half assed gear install. I have used other local builders also who carry a known name but use that name to make money, not make customers happy.

Actually Zuk live's down the street from me here in Chandler. He did the rear 3rd on my truck and did an excellent job. Bummed to hear he's no longer doing set-ups, was hoping to have him do my front dif one of these days. Solid guy.

I stand corrected, partially. So there is in fact a business in Camp Verde named Zuks, I had never heard of them. I think most of us were referring to a guy named Zuk (nickname) that lives here in the valley, try gearinstalls.com He is well known for setting up gears in Toyota's. I don't think the two are associated with each other, but I could be wrong.
