I don't find it odd. Every FJ40 made had one until 64 when the optional heater started. Then only those without a factory heater one until 68. 66 model heater was standard here but not everywhere. We got the lower padded dash with 68 model but most markets didn't so possible the light continued in other markets even longer. Not sure how long the FST got it. The B soft top bow got a done light around 75. Toyota made a ton of these lights for the FJ40. Problem is the 64 that all had it are over fifty years old. Years ago these were much easier to find. Bought a number of them from wrecking yards. To be honest I'm not even sure how many I have. As I find them trying to put the ones that aren't in vehicles together.
