looking for a trailer, what do you think of this one?

hi all,

found this trailer on our dutch online marketplace, he's asking 500 euro's (700 dollar) which is a good price, but also not really cheap.
was wondering if this is a M416 used by the dutch forces, or a NATO trailer inspired by the US model.

Asking this because we mainly see the european types like polynorm, sanky.. and they have rounded fenders (I like that a bit more in combination with a classic LC40).

Interested in your opinions and knowledge.

I like the flat fenders. They make better shelves when you are camping.

If it is in as good shape as the pictures shows,.....it would be a real bargain for $700 in the US...and probably go at least a $1,000 dollars

Grab it!

anyone know the exact inner length of the tub of an M416?

The Polynorm trailer tub is 183 cm (72,05 inch), wondering if the M416 is the same, if so, i go for the M416.. looks good and fresh and probably worth the buck.

Sounds like a fair price to me. I paid $700 for our M101 CDN and it was cosmetically not nearly so nice.

ok, because of you guys, I just bought the M416 and not the Polynorm!!!! :bounce::D
will pick it up in a few weeks, have to finish my cruiser first and install a Nato 12 pins plug receiver first, so the lights will work when I get it.

Will see if I can find a good electric scheme, so I know how to integrate the Nato 12 pins plug wires into my 24V 40 series electrical system, shouldn't be that hard... should it?

Not sure about the nato plug but I believe your lights are 24v though so it should not be a problem.

ahhhh...uuuummm....

you're screwed...

Naaaaa...j/k....;p

You'll figure it out!....Congratz on the purchase!

yes, both cruiser and trailer are 24v,
Already found some nice NATO 12 pin plug receivers, only have to find a wiring scheme that shows me what color should connect to what color wire.
:hhmm:

I have the electrical schematic for the M416. But they are in the cave and I am leaving on a trip right after work this afternoon. If no one supplies you with a copy before Sunday evening I will send you a copy. You will only need to use four of the connections.

It is a M416 and not a M416A1. I might be able to send you a pdf file of the manual for the M416. The only trouble is a cave bear lives in the part of the cave that the manual is in and it is sometime difficult to get stuff out.

Exellent Purchase! 700 dollars is a great price!

haaaaahhaaa great story!!!

only get your stuff when the bear decides its OK.. :)
