Folks, I posted that she is running back on May 25th. Sorry that I did not add any additional updates since then. I have been busy working on it almost every night. This weekend wheels and rims go on. I will put on temporary tires until I purchase my new Mickey Thompson MT tires later this summer or early fall. The New fuel tank, seats and repaired heater core all go back in as well this weekend and if I am lucky my new drive shafts will be done and I can put those on as well. The following weekend the clutch and brake master cylinders will go on and she should be a running driving rig a that point. Keeping my fingers crossed that no more little gremlins crop up to derail me, but you know how these things go.
My biggest worry at this point is getting the electrical all finished and working which is my next task, Time will tell. So if all goes well, she will be basically completed 2 years after I began stripping her down on June 28th 2012! Again, once she is running I hope to hook up with some Yankee Toy folks and get off road. There will still be plenty to do as I have to install my 8274 Warn winch in my custom front bumper, but that should not be too bad as I have already dry fit it. Paint will be the last piece and the final paint is scheduled for August. Thanks for the encouragement. It helps.
