Greetings All,
I am looking for an older scooter. Vespa preferred. But will consider others.
Condition does not matter so much, because I am willing to restore.
Cleaner is nicer.
But any condition will do for the right price.
What I am looking for is the "parked 15-20 years ago" sort of scooter.
Something clean and mostly rust free, but in need of a rebuild and restoration.
Just thought I would post here because there might be a good chance of someone knowing about one. Maybe one in the "back of the garage", or something "out back", or "in the barn".
I just want something to keep the short trips off the cruiser. I want to the cruiser to last forever, and lots of short trips are not exactly friendly.
Plus the old Vespa's are just plain cool.
