Hi all, I am from Europe, Bulgaria, looking to replace my trusted 2006 Hundy with a mint 2013-14 LX. Should be rust-free and have a clean Carfax. Preferably as near as possible to the main ports of shipping to Europe to save on internal transport costs. Will settle for over 100K highway miles as long as the service/maintenance record is immaculate. My upper limit is $ 40 000.

Am I wasting my time to land one for this kind of money???

No.

There are 16 2013-14 LXs with under 100k miles and under $40k on autotrader right now.

(But there are only 3 Land Cruisers that meet that criteria.)

It's going to be quite difficult to fine one that is immaculate. I have seen several '13 and '14 LX in the $40k range and they are in rough shape. I am currently shopping a '14 that is in very good shape in the mid $40s. If you can stretch your budget then you should be able to find one.

Thank you for the opinion, @Marcesq :)

I have a question: In Cargurus I see some vehicles marked as CPO. Would that be a safe bet that the vehicle is immaculate or excellent condition?

And another one: What are the best places/sites to look for used vehicles. Any advantages if the seller is a certified Lexus/Toyota dealer?

A CPO from a Lexus dealership is a fairly safe bet. I have looked at a 2014 CPO locally with 65k miles but they are asking $49k. They do not Certify a car past 70k miles.

So, you may have a hard time getting below $40k with a CPO.

As to other dealerships, it will vary wildly as to what they do to prepare the car the sale and what records are available.
