Looking for a JDM HJ60 owner in Canada

Hi Guys,

There was a guy passing through Ottawa last year, he blew a transmission and ended up getting one for about 1600-1800 new (H55f) from a place in the states. I need to find this guy so I can figure out where he got the tranny - I need one.

I believe that Cruiserparts have a H55F which price not sure .. but can call and ask . ..

They want 2100 for one - might go with them if I have to but - there is a place closer to me and cheaper - just can't remember the name of the shop.

I ordered one for my JDM HJ60 from Cruiserparts.net but when mine arrived at their store they said the price had gone up They did honor the original price they quoted me which was around $1800. So I think the price went up just as I was getting mine. the duty @ the border is like $400 for the transmission.

I called around to a couple of Toyota Dealers in Ontario and they all quoted me the crazy like $5000 price for one. I could not find a local place that had H55 at a good price.
