Wanted Looking for a distributor (1 Viewer)

Following up on this, if you still have one (a vaccuum advance distributor 1979 2f for FJ 40) and it is in good working order I would like to buy it. Pics would be great pls. Having trouble getting your website to load up.

The unit I offered is a pre-1970 points type unit. Electronic ignition upgrades are available for it, but do not come standard. I do have some 1979 distributors, but I can’t guarantee that the FOURTY YEAR OLD, no replacement parts available, are working or serviceable. As far as I am concerned, those should only be purchased by those with a thorough working knowledge of what they are dealing with.

Also be advised up front that like many other vendors, I will not accept electronic payments for electrical parts. There have been too many instances of under-informed customers damaging things during installation and using my inventory to finance their learning curve.

My machinist will be there for the install, priming and initial start up so I'm not worried about it. If in your opinion the unit will work then I will send either a check or money order, your preference. Looks you have some other parts that I need on your website too.
