Anyone have a line on a relatively clean 80 series? I'd even entertain a 3FE version if the price was right. Trying to keep it under $6K.

Yea, could be something simple, but who knows. I would like to see a locked black low mileage 80 in our group....Yeah, I've been watching that one. He said he was going to replace the fuse panel, which made me nervous.
It's at a shop. He bought it to flip. It just sounds like an electrical nightmare from his comments. I guess if he can get it fixed correctly, it'll be a good deal. I'm not too worried about lockers (although I wouldn't turn them down). I'm looking for something for my son.
All of this scares me: "When I bought it, it did not shift automatically, the dome light circuit (powers interior lights, radio and other stuff) had been shorted out by a bad alarm with insulation burned off the wires..." "THE WORK I HAD DONE RE-ROUTING THE DOME LIGHT CIRCUIT CAUSED A PROBLEM WITH THE EFI CIRCUIT. SO NOW I AM GOING TO PERSONALLY INSTALL A NEW FUSE BLOCK."
He says there's no CEL's. After my last two 80 series, my experience is that an 80 with no CEL is one with the bulb removed.
