Do they have the mid wheel base ,73/74 series base in Iran? I have seen a few 75 series troopys from there.

No unfortunately no 73/74's here, lots of fj75 and fj78's here no diesels since gas is really cheap. Ironically Iran ensembles a four door version of the fj75 here. So basically they import the front cab with the chassis into Iran from Japan and add the rear doors and the try here in Iran. Mostly used as government vehicles and the favorite choice for smugglers importing good from Iraq and Afghanistan. Here is a pic of one, they were all over the place in Azerbaijan. I was tempted to get one but they are really long and I have my hart set on a shorty.

If you could get a 25 year old dual cab 75 series into the USA ,you would be the King of all landcruiser owners:D

Do you have better side on pics of the dual cab 75?

Man I wish I could bring one of these over, they are pretty sweet. Pretty long though it would be a nightmare to try and park one of these in San Francisco haha, here is a pic of the rear doors

That looks good. Its no longer than my troopy, you get used to it after a while. It would still be shorter than many american cars and trucks.
it would make a great expedition vehicle with a fold out camper on the roof. The rear would be great for storage and a mini kitchen.

That looks way better than the oem dual cabs they are selling new.

I cant understand why they didnt do it that way.The design work was done and the parts were already on the shelf.
There was no need for one giant fuel tank.
