Well I came home from work the other day and look what was parked in front of my house.

I knew right away what was going on. My neighbour the ebay/kijiji junky must have found it on line and bought it.

I turned him on to LC's a few years ago and since then he has bought a 45LP and a 40 with a 502 and 44's. He has since traded the 45LP for an aluminum jet boat and then an aluminum air boat.

was that the one near Calgary? looks better in these pics.

so is it a keeping up with the Jones's??

Yeah, he found it about an hour north of Calgary.

Like I said, he has an addiction.

He doesn,t know what he will do with it. He doesn't have the facilities to do a resto right now, but he planning to put a large garage behind his house, so he may restore it some day.

He knows that it won't go down in value while he sits on it, so he is in no rush.

If he gets a hankering for something else he may trade it at that time.

The truck is solid and mostly there. It has a pto takeoff. The quarters are bent up and the rear sill is a little rusty.

He got it started up tonight.

He did change the oil, but the gas was just what it came with. I don't know how many years old the gas is. The glass window on the carb was covered with dust.

The motor smokes a bit and has a little valve train rattle, but other wise runs fine.

The neighbour told me $1200, but either way it is still a good price.

I saw that one online too. I thought for a thousand bucks I could find a place for it but I was looking for a 42. Not too many of those LV's around here. That's only the second one I've seen in this area.

Bezel

Surprised it could roll with that upside down bezel.:bounce2:
