Hey South Sound Cruiserheads,

I'm in Denver but found a 100 series in Bellevue, WA. I'm thinking of flying out, buying and driving back but was wondering if anyone could go peek at it for me to make sure I'm not wasting my time or money. I'd happily hand out some cash for your time/gas, etc. but it needs to be done pretty quickly, ideally in the next few days.

Any takers?

Thanks,
Jason

Hi Jason,

If I was back in Western WA I'd love to help... try the Seattle Cruiserheads (I think they're a Google Group?) and it wouldn't hurt to give Torfab a call. If they can't go check it out (or the owner can't drop it by for a quick run down) I bet they could give you a recommendation.

Thanks yohavos. There are a couple of Washington state clubs and wasn't sure I was asking in the right forum. I'll try the Cruiserheads. Was thinking about Torfab but the truck is at a dealer 30 minutes from their shop and not sure the dealer would want to take it up or someone from Torfab would want to go down. Will give them a call anyway.

Unfortunately most people in this area are on FB groups, not on here. I'd love to help but I'm about two hours away and on an island.

Truck sold last week. Thanks

FB groups? What FB groups?

I think these are all local:
Log into Facebook | Facebook
Log into Facebook | Facebook
Log into Facebook | Facebook

These are not local, but still a good source to check maybe:
Log into Facebook | Facebook
Log into Facebook | Facebook
Toyota Land Cruiser

Then there are countless for sale groups, but I don't think your request would fit too well in most of them. Besides, if I were in your shoes, I wouldn't want some random person on FB going to look at something that I would be spending that much money and time to come get. I know IH8MUD is a public fourm just like FB is, but somehow I'd trust ANYONE on here long before trusting someone on FB.

All that being said, where exactly is the cruiser? I MIGHT be coming up I-5 this Saturday and, if it's not too far off the highway (and able to be seen Saturday), I could possibly help you out. I am no LC guru, especially not the newer stuff, but I am a Toyota truck and 4x4 guru and a pretty good home mechanic so I know what to look for underneath.

No worries, I found another and am flying to look at it today.
