Congrats on the new rig. With a new to you Hundy, you will want to check out www.100sinthehills.com. Cool event for 100 series in late July in Ouray, CO. Looks your rig needs just a little PM and you are ready to roll.

Green with envy, congrats.

I liked the 80 and would have gone that route not because of the wheeling I wanted to do but I like the style of them also. However size was a factor and with the kids I wanted as big as I could get plus my friend who has an 80 always complains about the power the 6 cylinder has. I am getting away from the rocks and hard core trails. More Forrest roads, dry river beds and moderate off road designated stuff.
Have never done Goose lake but we are planning a trip this spring. A friend went last year and said it was beautiful. Maybe when we decide to go I can post it and see if we can get some other folks from here to go. Headed to LaDrone Peak for some camping in a couple of weeks.

Did not know that about the alarm and remote start. I kind of wish it did not have it just because I would have preferred stock. The cruiser also has a Kicker ported sub and box with an amp in the back that I want gone. It sounds great but I'm just not into all that and want my cargo space. Need to take it to the stereo shop to have them pull it and make sure everything else is still good.

ill take the sub! haha im running 1 P1 Rockford Fsogate in a probox truck box to save me all the space. about 6-8 inches deep and 1.5-2 ft wide and 1.25 tall. was perfect in the rx330. my amp calls for 2 since my wise amp buying research has kept me with the same amp for 15+ years and used to push 2 custom 10's in a custom 100+ pound box in the back of the 4runners ive had. rivaled my friends ml with 15's. small indie american made DHD is the amp brand if anyone wants to know. i also have worked a little in the music industry and love it. so great new sound keeps me craving long road trips. if you have sirius check out the station chill on electronic. you may decide to keep the sub. send your brainwaves some soothing bassy pulses. it helps for stress and anxiety.

i also had remote start on a 4Runner which was great. But once I learned about the security issue for the next one, i cant get myself to do it for chip security. even with a -20 high in the rockies.

you can just pull the amp and sub yourself by disconnecting the wires that are attached to the amp and the sub. just tape up with electrical tape the exposed metal (copper) to 3-4 inches down the wires coming from your truck. finish sealing all the wires with a few layers of ductape and you can hide it where ever its coming from, im assuming from the driver side back wheel plastic molding around the 3rd row area? you can just unbolt it and push the wires underneath. my suggestion is to instead of spend money to take out the wires people pay 150-300 just to get it installed, seal it up if you dont want to use it. it wont harm anything if theyre sealed. maybe down the road the stock 6" or two 5's? in the back may have issues which are common on these and you may want a sub again.

The only other pics I have of the new 100 are these. I got caught in a snow storm bringing her home. The other pic is just a side shot I took when I took the other pics I already posted. Will have more non poser pictures after our camping tip.

We were looking at the same time and dangit I must have missed this one, that is a nice looking truck. I will console myself with the knowledge that with the sweet bumpers I would have less room for parking in the garage...

Yeah as soon as I saw it posted I called on it. Luckily she does fit it the garage length is fine, height I only have about an inch to spare!

Nice looking Sahara, here is my old Jeep.

I actually saw a thread over on the AEV forum from the guy who bought your JKUR :) I also have an Orange Crush 12 JKUR and have looked at your build - very cool! Looks like we just went the opposite direction (I just sold my built 100 in Denver) we should have just traded LOL.

Very nice Rubi!! Always loved the AEV hood!! Great for heat reduction too! Just never could get around to buying one... How did u sell ur Jk? Craigslist , eBay ??

Thanks for the compliments on my Jeep and it's build. I enjoyed putting it together. I had it for sale on expo portal, AEV Forum and Craigslist. The guy on AEV got it. He is the one in San Diego. Great guy happy it went to a good owner.
I am really pleased with the size of the 100. My wife has a 2013 Sequoia and that seems a little on the big side but the 100 feels just right. Kind of the like the three bears and the porridge.

Well I think I am going to pull the subwoofer box out tomorrow. This is mainly a camping adventure vehicle and I want the space in the back for a frig and gear. I will post pictures of the box and the amp on it. Maybe someone with more car audio knowledge (TL420) can recommend how much I should list it on Craigslist for. After the subs gone I need to take it to get the carpet shampooed then if can put the new Weatertech floor mats in! For now the mats are just hanging out in the garage.

Ok here is the box, let me know what you guys/gals think I can fetch for it.
