Yes it looks like ther trailer will be free. Guess that I need to start my own leasing program LOL

John, I will let you know if we need it.

I just found out it looks like Marlin "crawler" himself will be out there with his little red pickup!!

This just keeps getting better...

so who's planning to head out that way? I'm inclined to get out there, but haven't committed yet....

Tim M, Rob & Dwight (and BK) at the moment. We'd love to get some more VA trucks out there. Are you looking for just a ride, or a convoy to fall in with? We are still working out the details of who is driving/towing what out, but should be able to work something out.

Hey - do you still have that 60 front axle?

Ok Guys!,

They played last weekend at the TTORA event and played till 2 am. So I guess that means leaving sun morning...

Just a heads up!

No, they played at the TTR event last weekend. TTORA is not part of the Lone Star Jamboree.

But the band is great and a must see.....glad to see they will be at RoundUp again.

Hey guys does anyone want to stop in San Antonio wed night before the roundup, hang out on the river walk, get some good food and hang out before we venture out to the Roundup. It is about 24 hours there, and then a little over 2 - 2 1/2 hours to the roundup location from there. We are thinking of stopping and seeing the sights, hate to be so close and not stop.

Rob

Updates from the Roundup thread:
The Concession stand was erected this weekend. Oh did I mention there was going to be a full time concession stand at K2? Breafast Burritos /Tacos in the morning along with sandwiches and Manifold burritos for the trail. burgers and fries sandwiches for lunch and a full BBQ meal for dinner every night.; They are going to add things as we go but thats first on the list .

I guess more room in the coolers for:beer::beer:

Less packing, cooking, more drinking...

Man do these guys know how to host an event!

I'd better get busy fixing all my junk. :wrench:

Anyone else up for this? Right now it looks like

Rob
Tim
Dwight
Bubba???

Drove the 40 today for the first time since Fall Crawl. :steer: With a little help from the Optima, and vigorous pumping of the accelerator, it started right up. Guess it wants to go back to Texas. I ended up pumping about 2 quarts of gear oil in the transmission and toybox. I might need to rebuild my 51 year old transmission again, this time with some new parts. Pretty sure that is why its leaking so bad between the adapter plates. I'd better pack a drain pan and my 5 gal bucket of 80-90.

Glad you got it running, I still need to change out my front springs and install the limiting straps. Only a couple of weeks away!!!! I registered yesterday!

convoy heading south registered today looking forward to this. Tim better get the disney love child out of the garage.

what day are you guys leaving VA?

I am leaving Ashland around 2pm on the 16th. I think the other guys are leaving that morning. They should chirp in.

Brian, are you in for the trip? It is a great time, a great big party!!

I will be leaving sometime in the am not sure on exact time hope to have that worked out wed night.
Dwight

As usual, this work thing is putting a little damper on the wheeling abilities - feast or famine and this month is turning in to a feast with deadlines.

From the Facebook update, it sounds like the showers might not be operational and no dogs...

Dwight
