lokar shifter help

anyone here in vancouver portland know how to install a lokar shifter. i am having trouble with the adjust. it wont go into 2 or low. there seems to be not enough throw on the shifter itself. lokar says i need to adjust. I AM SO CONFUSED//////////////////////

When I installed mine, I had a similiar problem I think. It seemed to be caused by the rod connected to the shifter swing arm being to short.

I have installed many of them an not had an issue...


Lengthen the threaded rod.

its cable operated also the shifter itself seems not to travel far enough to get all the gears. i have put alot of others in and this one is giving me hell just like everything else i have done to this. its like being in HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL
