i have a 1994 fj-80 slate green with grey leather interior. it has front and rear factory lockers and i have added the ome center diff switch, and carbon fiber trim to repalce the faded would trim. its now running great at 176,000k
its been mine for three years, its previous owner was in scottsdale and they used it to take the kids to soccer. it had toyota service under their ownership and i have been taking care of it since it became mine. you can confirm my part list with cdan at american toyota there in alb, if needed. at 130,000k, i repacked both axles , extended the diff breather hoses and added an optima red top, at 155,000 i changed the valve cover gasket, plugs, ignition wires, fluids and a brand new u joints -front and back at 165,000. of course oil changes every 3000-4000 thousand. new toyota brake pads x 4. i've lifted it with a 2.5 ome lift 850/863, all thanks to hltoppers help. it's got an in dash cobra cb and is hardwired for xm with a roady 2 head unit. george's led intererior lights as well. its been a great ride and still drives like new. lots of power with no mechanical problems. . some moderate wear to the leather and paint - particularly some fading on the hood. az racing stipes are included at no additional charge for mud members only. i will also include the fsm for free.
i am looking to go to a uzj 100, otherwise i would keep it .
