My door locks start acting up in warm weather. Is there a current source for the lock motors that I'm not finding.

You will need to replace the lock motor or the door lock assembly. In the sticky threads, there is one for FAQ that contains information for disassembling the door lock assembly and replacing just the motor.

I read through some of the threads on replacing the motors but it looked like joharis wasnt selling the motors anymore. Are they still available or is there another source I missed.

Part numbers ? I tried a PM to jonharis but didnt get a response. I would prefer to go through him so I know I have the right parts.

I think you need a Mabuchi FC-280PT-22125 with short shaft and brass collar. You may want to dismantle you actuator to be sure. You can ride around with the door panel off while your parts come in, I've done it before. I haven't used any one the ones from Jon, I swapped one from an actuator that had a broken cable when I had the one failure.

Thanks for the part #s. Both front door speakers are blown so I wanted to fix everything while I have them apart.

Will this same part # work on the back hatchback panel as well?

Awesome thanks man...for $10 off amazon its worth a try. Wife keeps yelling at me to fix it, she's tiered of climbing over car seats to unlock the rear hatchback lol

i have the same issue , it work some times , but then it doesnt. all five lockes have same problem , it sound like there is not enough power to get them unlock !!!!!
this weekend i notice it didnt even unlock the cargo door and when i used my key to manualy turn it , it didnt work . and i climed out back to unluck it .
so is it an accuature problem or motor problem ? or they both the same?
thank you guys

Could be all 5 motors have failed or are failing. The motor is at the heart of the actuator. If it doesn't work, power door locks won't work. I'd change out the motor in a couple doors and see if that fixes it before tearing into all of them.

FWIW, my keys don't fit great in the rear door lock so it's kind of hard to turn it with the key. Not sure if it's because keys are worn or what.
