Locations for CB antenna?

I think I saw the post where dtt255 mounted his on the rear. Anyone do an antenna up front?

That can work. If you have a steel bumper most Australian ones have antenna mounts otherwise what I've seen locally is the same mounts in the pictures but attatch on the rear. When the top tailgate is open there's what looks like a rubber stopper on the side with two bolts, brackets are usually attached to that and don't interfere with the opening or closing of the gate.

Have been also thinking of throwing a magnet mount K40 on the roof. Loved my K40 whip in high school.

Can you share some pictures? That is the exact mount I am looking for but I have only been able to find them for 80 and 100 series.

Sorry I don't have any pictures. I've seen it in person on a Y62 Patrol and it was a custom made bracket.
