Location of VIN Tags

I was wondering if anyone had the location for all the vin tags on a 200.

If so, can you include pics for where to find them.

Thats an interesting Q and id be curious to know as well.

The ones I do know:

1 - Door jamb placard
2 - Windshield cowl placard
3 - Passenger (R) front wheel well frame rail stamp
4 - Engine bay i believe?

I had asked a similar question too. From what I found 2008 had vin tags at door jamb, 5 doors, fenders, windshield, hood, but starting 2009 and on number of vin stickers got reduced to almost nothing. Not sure why, makes stealing and covering accidents much easier. Also, European models have all the same vin locations as US 2008. Not sure why Toyota cheaped out on vin stickers in the US market.

I think it is also stamped on the us passenger side of the frame behind the front wheel? Or am I confusing it with something else...?

Should be, also somewhere below the passenger seat as well if I'm not mistaken. I'm not sure about the engine but it probably has a serial number someone in Toyota can connect to a Vin but not sure how accessible this data is to average Joe, may be forensic data accessible to law enforcement only.

Thinking of this 2008 may also have one on the top rear door and on the bottom door/frame. Again no idea why they disappeared on US models in later years. Rest of the world still has them.

Does the engine itself have a VIN engraving/sticker somewhere as well? I am pretty sure I've seen this on other cars.

As I recall, the engine has a serial number, but it isn't the VIN.

ie upper hatch/lower hatch each door panel.

I guess back in my days with my s2k and supra I remember chasing vins because sometimes accident or bodywork dont always show on carfax.

2008 may have it, I know the upper hatch has it. Later year models don't - Toyota got rid of 8+ VIN tags at various locations after 2008 including Lexus.
