Hey Guys, My 1999 LX 470 just started to misfire while sitting at a red light. When the light turned green, I accelerated with a noticeable misfire...then the check engine light came on. I have an OBD II scanner, but can't find the data link connector port. Can anyone help with the location...and maybe a link to decipher the codes? Thanks!!!!

That's the factory diagnostics port...not the OBD port.

Found it! Thanks Ninja. I thought it was behind a cover...but it's just out in the open. The code is: P0301 Cylinder 1 Misfire. I'm guessing the coil may have gone bad. I have over 175K miles. Any easy way to confirm other than moving coils to see if the misfire moves? Thanks again

Coils are fairly easy to replace and cheap. For some reason the #5 cylinder has gone out twice on my 2000 LC. I keep an extra one with me at all times.

I swapped the coil pack from 1 cylinder to the next and the misfire code moved. So, I need a new coil pack. Dealership's parts department is closed tomorrow (Sunday) Is there any aftermarket manufacturer that I should look for...or avoid? Thanks!

Just go to auto zone or o'reily. One of them has a lifetime warranty I think.
