My Powertank is out of date and needs to be hydrotested and restamped before I can fill it again. Any local shops that do the testing? What about fills?

Airgas on Old Dowd Road near the airport will test them

How long ago was that? Last time I was up there they would only exchange Co2 bottles, nothing else.

I am not sure, but if there are any local dive shops they may be able to help you out. My dive tanks required similar testing and stamp.

Not sure where local is but I'm guessing Charlotte so I'm not much help but Pye Barker in Garner (outside Raleigh) can test them.

My SCUBA tanks take the same testing and some of the local shops take them there for hydro testing. Maybe call around to local commercial fire extinguisher places. They can add air after the test but not sure about anything else.

x2 Pye Barker, I have been using them for years for my CO2 tanks.

Found a place online in Indian Trail that sends them out but have a 1 week turnaround time. 30 bucks for hydrotesting, 12 for 10lbs. of CO2.
