I am new to FJ40 world. Just picked up first, a 1980 FJ. It is all original except for a 3 inch lift

It needs some work...brakes and wheel bearings. It also has a couple of vacuum lines that are not attached. Wondering who you recommend to do some work in the Des Moines area.

If you are in the Des Moines area, let us know and set a date and time and we can come over and help you out. More than likely the vacuum lines are for the CA emissions and there isn't a need to have those there from my understanding (had an FJ40 for about 9 months).

I am a big fan of the dune beige but couldn't track down a newer model year that was close to Des Moines.
