How did he injure himself?

If he flipped his quad doing something stupid then ....

i'm not sayin', I'm just sayin.

evidently he burned himself badly in his garage. Id prolly go....if it wasnt down by st.louis.

Pretty cool idea but a Jeep club at a Toyota dealership? no offence but it seems kind of odd to me.

Maybe it's Toyota that's trying to raise money :D

Or, maybe it doesn't really matter who is doing what and where they're doing it? We're talking about people here....more specifically, people that are involved in a common hobby. The dealership is paying for the food and doing all of the food prep. Their offer is to ANY community group to come out, serve food, and earn money for their "cause". They really don't care what people drive in. They're more interested in being involved in the surrounding community and helping out any way they can. I work at the dealership and I've wheeled with the Jeep club for years now. I was the one that suggested that they take advantage of the offer in order to raise funds for a fellow wheeler. Are you guys SERIOUSLY only looking at the vehicles being driven???

Hey now, Im with you on this. Dont be grouping me in with Phil!!!!!!!

Yes. I am looking at the vehicles being driven. ATV riders who hurt themselves doing stupid s*** get a different level of sympathy from me than a wheeler.

Do I care if they wheel a Cruiser, a Jeep or a Rover or a Kia? no. That's a whole different thing.

ATV riders who get medivaced out of wheeling areas every weekend do nothing to promote our sport.

No, I support the cause and think it's a good idea. Good on the Toyota dealership and good on the Jeep club too. I just felt the need to point out a Jeep club at a Toyota dealer. Kind of like oil and water.

Do we rib each other back and forth about this and that throughout the day? Sure.

That's exactly what it is. The "ribbing backing and forth" All I was saying is that it's kind of odd. You are blowing this way out of proportion. Are you trying to start an argument? Well, I'm done. I really wish the best for the fundraiser and the best for all involved.

Yup. Have fun with your fundraiser show and shine thing.

I just asked if he was wheeling an ATV. I missed the links in your post. In fact, I googled the guys name to find out what it was all about and found nothing. All I found was a cross post of the exact same thing on Pirate.

My information wasn't incorrect, it was a fxxxin question so I could get the correct information.

As far as the thread getting off track, this was probably not the forum to post in if you get butt hurt over a hijacking.

.... The nice thing about the Jeep club is that they're organized and they tend to do a little more actual wheeling as opposed to web-wheeling. I attempted to put together a Toyota group around here years ago and all anyone wanted to do was sit around and have meetings. I, however, prefer to wrench and wheel.

Don't go away mad........just...well... you know......

I don't believe that I know anyone that posts here that doesn't wheel. I see these guys all the time on the trails.

And the last time we had a meeting was in 2003, and there were only three or four there...

Come out and help a great cause for a great guy.
Thanks!
Josh

Josh, I know that if this were closer that most everyone here would be out there supporting, especially with free food. Now if there was free beer then we would be camping there as well.

Best of luck to your friend.
