Are there any ceramic coating companies in Mississippi or relatively close? I've got a set of cast exhaust manifolds I want coated but really don't want to ship them halfway across the country. I was going to get a quote from Jet Hot but they're in North Carolina. For the quality I may be better off with Jet Hot.
I do know that Spartan Customs LLC in Flowood does Cerakote and hydro dipping. Owner is Will and he does really good work. I actually just dropped off some parts last week to get Cerakoted. If your interested I can get you in touch with him.
Also, I know he has three FJ40's he is rebuilding for someone here in MS. I can't remember the owner of the 40's name, but the trucks are top notch so far.
Ceracoat is a spray on just like auto paint but has a high ceramic content. The frame off bronco I did at my shop had the frame ceracoated. The only thing is it will leave a matte finish not a high gloss like Jet Hot. The 40's that are up there were in my shop. When I got hurt I missed out on a lot of work. Will used to have his shop next to a friend of mine's body shop off of Underwood Dr. I do not have a clue where his new place is at.
Incorrect on matte finish. The finish is by color choice. There is also a clear coat in Cerakote. Flame proof coating. Will is actually just across Flowood drive from his last building. Well, I decided to send the manifolds to Jet-Hot. Just got them back yesterday after about a 10 day turn around. I like them. It cost me right at $330 door to door round trip.
