Load Bar Width?

Wanting to add some thule (or similar) load bar racks to Shirley. Not sure how wide I need to go though. Saw some in the classifieds here, but there only 50" wide. I did a quick measurement and it's about 54" from gutter to gutter. I don't want them sticking WAY out, but not too short either.

What are y'all running (those who have them)?

I got 66'' ones, I like the extra sticking out, makes a good handle, for climbing up to strap stuff down. Mine are yakima, and the shortest I could go on those towers is 52'' . If you found a good deal you could always cut the bars down. I've got some extra bars by the way, no towers, just bars, pm me

My Thule's are 58".
