good day I just bought a LJ79 and I am looking for some mods for it mainly lift kits and body accesories ,bumpers tyre racks,I cant seem to beable to find any such places that may have these things in the US or Canada any help would be appriciated
I will forward pics as soon as I can its in the process of being sprayed Thanks

Where you located Canada or the US.
Where did the LJ come from.
You will probably have a hard time finding mods for the 79 or any of the higher numbered 70 series they are not common in north america you may have to get custom made bumpers and tire carrier,what is the suspension leaf springs or coils.

Yeah parts are very hard to find,here is a shot of my front bumber which is for a defender.
Using Old Man EMU shocks and springs.

urm is the lj 79 a prado type to or is that lj78 ?or do you mean a heavy duty 79

its the LJ79 the prado type it has coil springs 4dr turbo diesel ,the 1KVA ,I am looking fro any bumper conversion,I am located in jamaica but looking in both US or Canada thanks in advance

TJM or ARB out of Oz.
or custom build one.

all the parts for the crusiers in NA come from there anyway.

dont go arb if you intend to drive your cruiser off road and bumbing into stuff ,as they are weak as pizz

thanks for the advice ,and I do intend on knocking it around a bit on the trails near the farm ,the lady who had it before ran it into a wall and I am trying to find out where I can get a few stuff for it ,such as the indicator lamps both to the side ad below the head light ( may be clear lenz) ,bumpers front and rear and lift kit to start off with, other things include window visors and japanose style off road rims if they are available in the U.S. or Canada any help will be appriciated thanks

The photo shows a short wheelbase model and a long wheelbase model in the back. The LWB is same as my LJ79 with 3L engine, except it may be called a different model number.
Both engine and body parts are easily available from here in S E Asia. Recycled body parts are also available, such as front and rear side doors, rear doors left and right, all in good conditions.
