Hello Everyone, I have been having this problem intermittently.
When i pull the wiper/washer stalk towards myself, sometimes the wiper/washer motor is not energized i.e. No Wipers and No Washer.
If i put the stalk in the Int, Low, High position, the wipers work, but the washer does not work at all if the stalk is pulled.
Last night I checked the fluid reservoir and pump by supplying 12V directly and the pump is fine it sprays. I cross referenced and it is the same pump as a 87-88 4runner.
The pump electrical connector also had voltage at that time, so i could not recreate the problem.
Today morning it worked as well.
I will be taking the steering column covers off and checking the wire connections to see of the washer/wiper switch is bad and whether it needs cleaning.
I will be posting some pics as well.
If you have any pointers or Suggestions, they are welcome.
