Hello guys, I have a lj78 prado 2lte. It was parked for many years. So I star to work on it changing oil, filters, and others. The issue is with the fuel filter, I installed a MAN fuel filter. But the engine feels lack of fuel and not make acceleration; when i pump the primer with the engine running it accelerate fine for couple minutes... then it feels lack of fuel again. But If I bypass the filter it run beautiful with not issues at all... what's do you think can be?
Thanks for the help, Alberto

it's sucking in air somewhere, around the filter gasket, a hose or the primer

Thanks bussman....Yes I was thinking on that too...To be fear i didn't spend to much time analyzing the problem...but yes that could be a possibility and when i bypass the filter may not suck air becase is les resistant so if is sucking air should be after de primer that actually is new too.... I will work on it next weekend again to see if I find anything and keep you update 🤟
Thanks again Bussman.

I came early from work today and start to see if i find the air licks.... and find it! Was the o-ring of the water separator drain, look pretty flat and actually if I pump the primer little hard fuel coming out front the whater drainer.
Thanks bussman for your help 🤟
