Hey y’all. After lurking the few threads on here about doing the 2LTE EGR delete I finally did my own yesterday. Everything went well and it’s been running good so far, but I’m a little confused about a couple things.
I removed all the piping and blocked off the exhaust and intake with some .25” aluminum and the stock steel gaskets that were on there. Even made a couple 1” aluminum spacers to use the stock studs on the intake.
The part I’m unclear on is the vacuum lines and the 2 VSVs. Some people said to ditch it all and some say to leave 1 VSV on? I removed both VSVs and all the vacuum lines.
It’s been running good so far. Hard to say if there is any difference though. Still need to clean the gunk out of the intake. Thats tomorrow nights project.
