LJ78 dash light dimmer where?

do you mean they're an option or standard issue? As I said my aussie 1988 HJ75 STD didn't have one.

Pretty sure they came standard here on the majority of ol hj cruisers I see, I just had a look on web at some for sale out of curiosity and they they all had them, some were located in bottom of dash where the switches live, and others located on where mate has attempted to install a toggle switch
