Non triple locked 97' Land Cruiser
Maintenance under my ownership -
New Radiator, hoses, and thermostat at 260k filled with Toyota Red coolant
Front and Rear Diff Fluid 260k
flushed and with filled with Mobil 1 synthetic 75w-90 gear oil
Oil Change at 5k Intervals 260k and 265k filled with Chevron Delco 15w-40 Filter is OEM Toyota
New Battery, Denso Reman'd Alternator, and fusible link, AC and Alternator Belts, less than 1000 miles on each, have OEM Wires, plugs, and a spare fusible link to go with.
New high and low pressure power steering hoses at 267k, old ones were dry and cracked and leaked a significant amount. Flushed and Filled with Prestone Asian Vehicles Synthetic Fluid
Transmission Flush 268k, filled with Valvoline Dex III ATF
Rebuilt Steering Box, new Front Damper, and linkage 260k
New Heater control valve 261k
Heater does not work, haven't diagnosed it, possibly needs a new heater core to fix.
AC Serviced, blows cold
All power locks in working order, All windows work except drivers side passenger window, that window does not roll down. Drivers side window will occasionally get stuck down if rolled all the way down.
Exhaust leak between the front and rear catalytic converter, and on the Y pipe from the manifolds, manifolds don't leak, I put a new gasket on that at 260k. Could use new gaskets for an easy fix, I haven't because it doesn't bother me
Very slight oil leak, no large amounts of oil missing when changes have been done
Sunroof slider and tilt both in working order, part of the plastic trim is broken
Crack in windshield and a couple cracks in the dash pad.
Antenna is not attached, unsure if the mast works or not.
I still have the matching fenders in my possession, they were cut by the previous owner to fit larger tires for rock crawling. Put on the two fenders you see pictured purchased from Cruiser Dan out it CA, Had intentions of painting the vehicle with Monstaliner, but they are out of stock on all their products for an unknown amount of time due to low supply amounts because of Covid.
I have a set of aftermarket fender flares from SoFlo that are bolt on, was waiting to paint the car before installing them.
Has a CB antenna mount on the rear left side from YotaTech
Arksen roof rack, just a cheap rack from amazon, bought it prior to moving out here to put stuff on top, allegedly rated for up to 100 pounds, can't attest to that, but it held a pretty decent amount of stuff all the way here
3rd row seats intact, haven't installed them because I've been using the space for the spare, but they are there.
Spare tire doesn't fit on the mount underneath the vehicle so I keep it in the back
Head gaskets were allegedly done at 240k according to previous owner, but had no documentation to prove it, so I'm unsure if he was lying or not, either way, it hasn't been an issue since I've owned the vehicle
California vehicle, doesn't seem like there is any major rust or rot underneath mostly surface rust. Purchased in 2020 in California, drove it to Texas, and then to Arkansas and towed a trailer with 2 motorcycles the entire time
All gearing works for the transmission, been through rain, snow, and mud no problem
Anything I've listed as far as maintenance or modifications is all work I have done/had done myself, anything else I'm unsure about.
Not the prettiest pig at the fair, but she hasn't let me down.
