Liquid Clay Bar?

buy the 3M clay bar (3M Perfect-It III Cleaner Clay).... it's about $30, but worth every penny. I picked one up today, it works magic on paint.

You can use regular modeling clay from a craft store. just make sure you keep it lubed when using. i use soapy water in a squirt bottle. No need to buy the expensive stuff.

Modeling clay? That is very interesting. Can you give more details? I have always hated the prices they charge for a small "bar" of clay. Is it really the same thing?

the small bar or 3M clay lasts for a loooong time. That is as long as you don't drop it on the floor, it will absorb floor dirt.... turning it into sandpaper.

I don't know how "filtered" or "processed" modeling clay is. The 3M stuff is blue and very fine clay.

I have the whole turtle wax kit at home, just have not used it yet...

I have used the liquid clay product and was relatively unimpressed with the results. It was real easy, just not spectacular results. However, the other products in that line (soap, wax, interior cleaner) are easy to use and seem to work well.

some of the organic clays have oil and grit in them.... if you are hell bent on using it, get the firm Polymer modeling clay.
